Who we are
RayCave Holdings, LLC is a New Mexico limited liability company based in Albuquerque. This policy covers raycave.com. Each of our applications carries its own privacy policy covering that app — for VBCut, see vbcut.com/privacy.
This website
raycave.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no advertising, loads no third-party scripts, and contains no tracking pixels or social media widgets. There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is collected.
Our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, keeps standard short-lived server logs — the kind every web server keeps, including IP address, timestamp, and which page was requested — for the purpose of operating and securing the service. We do not use these logs to identify, profile, or advertise to anyone, and we do not combine them with any other information.
Our applications
We build software that runs on your device wherever we can, rather than on our servers. VBCut, our first application, works entirely on your own hardware: your files, and everything derived from them, stay on the device you own.
This page describes the company and this website. Each application has its own privacy policy, which is the authoritative statement of what that app does — it is linked from the app's own site and from its App Store listing. If a future application needs to collect or transmit anything, that app's policy will say so plainly before it ships.
If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. We use it to reply and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent, or share your address. We keep correspondence only as long as it is useful for support or our records.
What we never do
- We do not sell or rent personal information. We never have.
- We do not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not build advertising or behavioral profiles.
- We do not use third-party analytics on this site.
Children
This site is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children. VBCut is designed so that no information about any person — adult or child — is collected or transmitted to us; its own policy covers that in detail.
Your rights
Privacy laws in various places give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal information a company holds about you. Because we hold essentially nothing — only the emails you have chosen to send us — there is usually nothing to produce or erase. If you would like us to delete our email correspondence with you, write to support@raycave.com and we will do it.
Changes
If our practices change, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect. Given how the company is built, we do not expect much to change.
